STEP 01
Create the event
Time, place and price per minute of delay. Share the invite code and you are done.
Meet-ups that start on time
You set the time, the place and what each minute of delay costs. Your friends check in when they arrive. Finelly counts the minutes and writes it all down.
Free. Runs in the browser, nothing to install.

How it works
The main mode is in a group: you meet up, everyone checks in on arrival, and whoever runs late pays. No spreadsheets, no arguing about who got there when.
STEP 01
Time, place and price per minute of delay. Share the invite code and you are done.
STEP 02
One button on arrival. GPS confirms you are there and the time is recorded.
STEP 03
Finelly works out the delays, the fines and the total pot. The receipt goes to the group.
States
Check in before the start time. You pay nothing and add a day to your punctuality streak.
Every minute is multiplied by the price you agreed on. It shows up on the receipt with your name on it.
House rules
From a few cents to whatever the group can stomach. Each event has its own.
Location confirms the arrival. It is checked at that moment and no history of where you go is kept.
You choose how many stragglers are on the hook. If only the last one pays, the rest get off lightly.
The first round, dessert, petrol for the next trip. Decided when the event is created.
Finelly does not move money. It keeps track of who owes what and puts it in writing on the receipt. Settling up is between you, as always.
Solo Mode
Finelly is mostly a group game. But you can also use it with yourself: the gym, the Monday meeting, bedtime. Here punctuality is not only penalised — it is rewarded.
This is the only mode where being early gives you something. Every minute early adds to your pot (up to a cap of 15 minutes) and every minute late takes from it (up to a cap of 60): beyond that it is not punctuality, it is just being somewhere.
You give it a name and a destination you choose yourself: "Trip to Japan", "Friday coffee". Each event adds to or subtracts from a single pot, and the balance can go negative. You are not collecting points, you are collecting towards something.
Here you confirm your own arrival, with nobody to verify it. That is why these events do not count towards your punctuality rate or the leaderboards: they are for measuring yourself, not for competing.
The pot is a scoreboard, not an account. Just like the pot of a group event, the money in Solo Mode is symbolic: Finelly keeps count and nothing more.
The app
Almost all of Finelly happens once you sign in. These are the real screens: creating the event, checking in on arrival, and the receipt that closes the meet-up.

Questions
No. Finelly works out what each person owes and lays it out on the event receipt. The money moves between you however you prefer: cash, a transfer, buying the next round. Finelly is not a payment gateway and never touches it.
No. Finelly runs in the phone browser. Open the event link and, if you like, add it to your home screen as if it were an app. App Store and Google Play versions are on the way.
Yes, with an email and password or by signing in with your Google account. That gives you your own profile with the history and punctuality stats from all your events.
It is only used at the moment of check-in, to confirm you are at the meeting point. The coordinates of that specific arrival are stored against the event. There is no continuous tracking and no access to your location outside that instant.
Check-in is only validated within the radius of the venue, so marking it from the sofa will not work. Even so, Finelly is a game between friends: if in doubt, the group has the final say.
When creating the event, the organiser sets how many "penalty slots" (K) there are. Among the latecomers, only the last K to arrive pay, and each one pays their own minutes late multiplied by the event rate. If fewer people are late than there are K slots, only those who were actually late pay.
When the event is created you set a purpose for the money: a dinner, a trip, a good cause. Finelly keeps track of what is owed, but the payment happens outside the app and someone marks it as settled by hand.
Every event is independent; they are not chained into a league. What does persist is your profile, with punctuality history across every event, and any friend groups you save to invite in one tap.
No. It is a single payment that removes ads for good. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.
Yes. Alongside group mode, which is the main one, there is a Solo Mode for logging your own punctuality without inviting anyone: the gym, a meeting, bedtime. Arriving early adds to a pot you define yourself and arriving late takes from it, with a cap of 15 minutes early and 60 minutes late. These events are private: they do not count towards your punctuality rate or the leaderboards.
Create an event in a minute and share the code with the group.
