Terms and Conditions of Use – Finelly
Last updated: 13 August 2026
1. Purpose and acceptance
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Finelly, available as a web application (PWA) and as a native application for iOS and Android, operated by Eduviku SL (see the Legal Notice for full details of the owner). Using Finelly implies full acceptance of these Terms.
2. Description of the service
Finelly lets a user (the "organiser") create an event by specifying a title, place and date/time, set a fine per minute of lateness, and set a number of "penalty spots" (K): the number of the last people to arrive who will have to pay the fine.
The organiser invites other users via a shareable link or by searching for them by nickname within Finelly. Invitees confirm their arrival by tapping "I've arrived", which triggers a check of their GPS location against the event's meeting point.
When the event closes, among the latecomers only the K who arrived last actually pay, each based on their own minutes late multiplied by the rate set for that event. Finelly displays a "pot" with the purpose stated by the organiser; this pot is purely informational: Finelly does not process real payments between users and is not a payment gateway for an event's pot. Users must settle it among themselves (cash, bank transfer, etc.) outside the Platform, and mark it manually as "settled" once done.
3. User registration
To use the main features you must register with an email and password. You must be 16 or older. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out from your account.
Each user has a profile showing the history and punctuality statistics of the events they have taken part in. Each event is independent of the others; users may save groups of friends to speed up invitations.
4. Location verification
Checking in requires you to grant geolocation permission to your browser or device. Without that permission you will not be able to confirm your arrival via the "I've arrived" button. Finelly checks your proximity to the event's location only at the moment of check-in; the coordinates of that check-in are kept as described in the Privacy Policy. Outside of check-in, Finelly does not monitor your location at any time, nor access it in the background.
5. User conduct
The following is prohibited:
- Faking your GPS location to avoid a penalty.
- Creating fake events or impersonating other users.
- Using Finelly to harass, financially pressure or harm other users.
- Attempting to compromise the security of the Platform.
Breaching these rules may lead to suspension or deletion of your account.
6. Community rules and moderation
- Posting offensive content, harassing other users, impersonating others or spamming is prohibited. This includes your username, event titles and the pot's stated purpose.
- Any user can block another user and report profiles or events directly from the app.
- Eduviku SL reviews reports manually and may suspend or delete accounts that breach these rules, without prior notice where the breach is serious.
- Blocking someone prevents future interactions, but does not erase the history of events already shared or fines already generated.
7. Advertising
Finelly displays ads to fund the free service. Which advertising network is used depends on where you use the application:
- On the web (finelly.app): Google AdSense. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, consent for advertising is collected through Google's certified form (TCF v2.2).
- In the iOS and Android applications: Google AdMob, which is a different product from AdSense and displays banners and full-screen ads. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, activating it requires your consent through the Google form (UMP) shown when you open the app; on iOS, Apple's tracking permission (ATT) is also involved.
Using the app implies acceptance that ads will be shown on the above terms, unless you have purchased the ad-removal option described below. Refusing consent does not limit your access to the service: ads simply become non-personalised.
The data processing associated with advertising, and how to withdraw your consent on each platform, are detailed in the Privacy Policy.
8. Price and purchase to remove ads
Finelly offers an optional, one-time purchase that removes ads from the app. The price is always shown including taxes before you confirm payment.
- If you buy from the web, payment is processed by Stripe. Eduviku SL is the seller and issues the corresponding receipt.
- If you buy from the iOS or Android app, payment is made through the Apple App Store or Google Play (with RevenueCat handling purchase validation). In that case, Apple or Google act as the seller, and their own terms, refund policies and support channels apply — not Eduviku SL's.
Because this is digital content delivered immediately upon payment, by confirming the purchase you expressly agree that you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal that normally applies to online purchases, as indicated to you before confirming payment.
9. Intellectual property
All rights over Finelly (brand, code, design) belong to Eduviku SL. Users retain the rights to the content they generate (event names, messages), but grant Eduviku SL the licence needed to provide the service.
10. Availability and changes to the service
Finelly may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time, especially as this is a service under active development (V1). Where possible, we will give reasonable notice of significant changes.
11. Limitation of liability
Eduviku SL is not responsible for:
- Location errors caused by a user's device or lack of GPS signal.
- Financial disputes between users regarding an event's pot, since Finelly does not take part in any real transaction between users.
- Damages arising from misuse of the app by other users.
- Payment or billing issues occurring within the Apple App Store or Google Play when the purchase is made from the mobile app.
12. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your profile or by requesting it at hola@finelly.app. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data after deletion.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For users acting as consumers, any dispute will be submitted to the courts of the consumer's domicile, in accordance with consumer protection law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when necessary; continued use of Finelly after changes are published implies acceptance of them.

These Terms are available in several languages. In case of any discrepancy between versions, the Spanish version shall prevail.
